The Parks & Recreation Committee:
Bringing Fun, Activities, and Community to Hidden Hills.

The Parks & Recreation Committee organizes a variety of events and activities throughout the year to bring residents together. A few of these signature events include the Winter Social (January), Welcome Party (May), Summer Kick-Off Party (June), Summer BBQs (June-August) and Halloween Party (October).

In addition, the committee also plans exciting pop-up events including Drag Queen Bingo, Bunco Night, Ugly Sweater Karaoke, Paint Night and Movie Nights.

The Parks & Recreation Committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 11am. While the committee is limited to 7 voting members, residents are strongly encouraged to get involved.

Schedule of Events

+ Winter Social - January

A wonderful family day with crafts, food, activities and snow, snow, snow! Bring your sled and enjoy all the fun.

+ New Residents Welcome Party - May

This party is sponsored by the Association for the new residents to get acquainted with their neighbors. The evening is filled with dining, dancing and music. Past themes for the party have included Cruise Night, Rhinestone Cowboy and Las Vegas Mobster (complete with gambling!)

+ Childrens Welcome Party/Opening Day for the Pool - June

A great family day to celebrate the beginning of summer. There is food and lots of fun. The pool is open - let the summer begin!

+ Summer Program - June – August

The committee organizes an outstanding summer of fun for all residents such as camp and weekly BBQs by the pool. Past activities have included jewelry making, woodworking, the Reptile Guy, petting zoo, magicians, clowns and storytelling, and crafts of all kinds.

+ Halloween Party - October

A pre-Trick-or-Treat event with ghoulishly fun activities, food and entertainment. Get in a few healthy bites before the candy marathon, followed by the distribution of glow-in-dark novelties that make Trick-or-Treat safe!
